CDA‑credentialed educators
Teachers with Associate and Bachelor Degrees in Early Childhood Education
Staff actively pursuing degrees through the TEACH Early Childhood® Scholarship Program
Educators completing annual specialized training in curriculum, child development, health, safety, and family engagement
This commitment to professional excellence supports our Step Up To Quality Gold Rating and ensures every child receives individualized, developmentally appropriate care.
All staff maintain current training in:
First Aid & CPR
Communicable Disease Recognition & Management
Child Abuse & Neglect Recognition, Reporting & Prevention
Proper Hand‑Washing & Sanitation Procedures
USDA CACFP Food Program Policies
Ohio Child Care Licensing Requirements (OAC 5180:2‑12)
As a Gold Rated Program, our team also completes a minimum of 10 additional hours of specialized Early Childhood Education training each year, ensuring they stay current with best practices and evolving standards.
Before joining our team, prospective employees must:
Provide professional references
Pass State & Federal background checks (BCII & FBI fingerprinting)
Complete a pre‑employment physical exam
Agree to our drug testing and personnel policies
Attend mandatory new‑hire orientation
Successfully complete a 3‑month probationary period with performance evaluation
Current employees must:
Renew BCII fingerprint checks every four years
Sign an annual non‑conviction statement
Maintain all required training and certifications
